§ 15-58. Relinquishment of tap, disconnection of service, removal of meter.

  • In the event the owner of a water tap on any property serviced by the town desires to relinquish that tap, then the owner shall execute and submit a relinquishment of tap form, which form shall specify the owner's names, the lot upon which the tap has been attached, an acknowledgment of the intent to relinquish the tap and a notarized signature of the owners. The owner shall not be allowed to remove the meter, meter pit or any other tap appurtenance without the written order of the public works manager.
